Kenny thinks I try to pad my comment numbers by responding to other people, but since he's gone this week:
I think the state of that keg needs to be investigated. Jared and I spent some time trying to calculate the amount of beer the group drank, and it's nearly impossible that we could have kicked a regulation keg, especially considering there was hard alcohol and wine available.
Beth, you also missed several trays of bagel bites. It may have been your last chance to snack at my house, as Jared ate/drank me out of house and home, possibly eating more of my food in 2 days than I've eaten in 6 months.

"Pad your comment numbers"? Please. I wasn't aware that the blogosphere, or our little semi-incestual group tp perhaps put it more correctly, was engaged in some sort of competition. I guess I'll have to go figure out some way to judge my self-worth based on the reponse I get to my posts.
Blogs are supposed to be open conversations with readers both known and unknown, so there is no reason not to comment back. If you want to be aloof and not respond to your readership, that's fine. However, if you want to respond to your readers, and offer them some thanks, feedback, ridicule, then I applaud you.
Carry on Browshie.

1) Thank you for the commenting vote of confidence.
2) There was no intentional purchase of a 1/4 keg. Jared and I calculated that maybe 60 beers could be attributed to drinking games (~15 games of pong@2 beers per team per game?), leaving 6.25 beers per partygoer. That's reasonable for an entire night, but still hard to believe given kick time, which accordingly to my most likely incorrect estimation was like 11.

I would say at least you got the lion's share of the doritos, but I actually think the carpet even beat you out on that in the end.
