Anyone in the market for a non-authentic youth away Eagles TO jersey? I'm sure it will be a collectible some day. Maybe when TO's new team wins a Super Bowl and the Eagles and their integrity are watching at home.
Even when I try to be friendly with girls, I still always somehow end up surrounded by guys, drinking beer and watching sports.
One person who must be thrilled with the TO situation is Phillies pitcher Ugueth Urbina. All the uproar takes the attention off his being charged with attempted murder after (allegedly) attacking people with machetes.
Dear 50 cent: I know you have to get out there and promote your movie, but if you really want to keep up your gangsta image and keep saying you need to wear that bullet proof vest for your safety, I suggest you stop giving the Today show erudite interviews from your 38-bath Farmington, CT estate.
Last week I was ready to rescind all my optimism about the Sixers, but after the win on Saturday I'm going to hold on to it a little longer. They proved that we have the talent, we just need Iverson and Webber to continue to do their part, Iguodala to live up to expectations for his leap year, and one other player each game to step up with some points and a little defense. Of course this is easier said than done, but the potential for success is still there.
Finally, as one of my fellow revelers said Saturday night, you can take the girl out of Philly, but you can't take the Philly out of the girl. Nothing says sophisticated wedding guest like a french twist, a designer dress, and a Bud Light.
I laughed out loud when you wrote "When TOs new team wins a Super Bowl and the Eagles and their integrity are watching at home." hahaha. My thoughts exactly. Screw integrity. We should get some kind of championship up in this joint!
What's with all this Philly athlete drama? TO, that crazy Phillie's pitcher (Colleen, I agree that a plain old machete attack is just so boring w/o arson/murder), and the dress code and AI. Ayiya. ha.
Anywho... the Sixers are looking slightly dismal this season so far. But hope springs eternal.
Random thought. That song "Laffy Taffy" is playing right now. Any thoughts as to the meaning behind that? ha.
Lastly, Colleen, any day you want to resurrect your blog is a good day to me.
The end.
Also, Ryan, I do occassionally read your blog and that whole "The Other Colleen" contest was hilarious. Just thought I should make that confession while I make a comment near your name here. ha.

I believe I was in the midst of the "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" gallop dance, and if so I was thinking of you.

The pose smacks of "ride a cowboy" ... nicely done, and thanks for thinking of me.
