Welcome!

Welcome to the new site! Exactly like the old site, but with a (snazzy?) new name. For now, the change is effective and when you google me you'll only find mention of me in others' blogs, plus, randomly, my comments on the 2002 NBA season from some message board.

I just had a flashback of my dream from last night: I had to hand in something and they wanted it paperclipped, but I was franctic because all I could find anywhere in the office were big green paperclips and they wanted silver. You know you're a working stiff when you're even stressed out about work when you're sleeping. Anyhoo, the work stress dream is much better than my old recurring dream where my teeth would fall out. This probably doesn't sound that bad, but it was completely terrifying. In every situation I would known my teeth were going to fall out or break because I was grinding them so hard but I couldn't stop and no one would help me. In the most recent ones, I'd even know I was dreaming and not be able to wake up, or if I did wake up I'd be chewing on my hand to try to stop the teeth from grinding together. Apparently this is a pretty common dream. Isn't it crazy that two completely different people with no common experience can have the same unique dream?

I'm heading to the shore for a little extended Labor Day weekend to enjoy the last hurrah at Maloneys (more on that next week) some R&R at the beach with ocean water temperatures in the upper 70s and the best weather imaginable. Have a good one.

I have the teeth dream all of the time! (there's also one involving a mailbox. Go figure.) It's always one of the top ones, usually the tooth in between my canine and left front tooth. I think this is because, teethwise, I was a late bloomer (still have my wisdoms) and lost that tooth as my last baby tooth my freshman year of high school. This was bizarre and therefore super noticeable around a bunch of 14-year-olds. Probably pretty formitive.

teeth dreams are absolutely horrifying! in mine they fall out in different ways..some times they like flake off in layers, sometimes they crumble...it is so bad! nothing better than waking up and realizing you have a full set of chompers though.

I have teeth dreams all the time, too! What a strange phenomenon. Maybe it's just a worry-wart thing...
