America, [HELL] YEAH!
July 4th has always been one of my favorite holidays, between the beach and the fireworks and the hot dogs. And as Kenny noted the other day, in recent years July 4th has become one of the best drinking events of the year. Not to toot my own horn, but the first attempt at July 4th at the shore did not disappoint. Was it the perfect weekend, as some suggested? Maybe not, but it was sure close. Great weather, neverending food, copious alcohol, and lots of laughs and games. Highlights for me (some of which Ryan, Kenny, and Kehoe covered) included full contact ultimate frisbee, revolutionizing the game of paddleball with the creation of Ball Sack and the world of grammar with visible punctuation, late night Wawa walks, learning about the perils of board shorts with no boxers, the scenery and the pizza at Mack and Manco's, and of course, karaoke. Only a month until another 3 days gluttonous days of beach, beer, and eats. But fair warning, the kick it up a notch horn will be blasting upon arrival, no more of this turning down beer in favor of tea and going home at 2am business come August.
Now for a poll, followed by pictures:
In the lead for August weekend slogan is "Going to the Be-yach". Thoughts? How does of tshirt front of something like "Shore Weekend 2005 August..." with a back of the slogan sound?
PS: I forgot to mention the choreography portion of the night where the excellent combo dance was created (Ed Ed, Mike slide, Kenny twirl, Johnny leanback, elbows elbows, booty shake). Jared and I were doing it all the next day on the beach.

I also liked your "Still more eatin' to be done" comment. However, "Going to the Be-yach" is excellent as well.
